Information to Customers 

Viewing of Facilities 
We would be delighted to show you our facilities at any time during opening hours, appointments WILL have to be made due to council requirements. Thank You. 

Medical Cover 
Our comprehensive insurance cover will provide full veterinary treatment whilst your pet is in our care.

Licence 
We will be  fully licensed by Worcestershire Regulatory Services under the Animal Boarding Act licence.

Terms and Conditions 

                  

 1. Cats will only be accepted with vaccinations against: Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. 
Copies of certificates must be provided at the time of your arrival to the Cattery. 

Flea treatment should be administered prior to their stay, we are a flea-free zone. ( We ask for this to be administered at least 1 week before coming into the cattery) Please see our Flea/wormer treatment advice tab.

2. In the event of your cat becoming ill a vet will be called (if necessary).  If treatment is recommended the customer agrees to accept the decision of the vet.

When completing our booking form, you will be asked to agree and sign the following:

● I agree that in the case of suspected illness, Comberton Cattery’s vet or my own vet may be contacted, my cat examined and investigations performed if required.   

● I agree to Comberton Cattery administering any prescribed treatments the vet considers advisable. 

● I understand that unless imperative for the welfare of my cat, and only if recommended by a vet on humane grounds, euthanasia will not take place unless consent is given by myself

or my nominated emergency contact person. 

● I agree to pay in full any veterinary expenses incurred by Comberton Cattery to Comberton Cattery at the time of my cat’s departure. Should Comberton Cattery need to invoice myself for veterinary expenses, I agree to pay in full by the date stated on the invoice.  

 

Insurance Exclusions

Should the insurance company or vet deem any ailment or injury is not cattery related, the cost of any treatment will be the responsibility of the owner.
Pre existing conditions and clinical signs of pre existing conditions are excluded. Injury caused by one of your pets to another of your pets is excluded.

3. All reasonable care will be taken of boarders, but cats are nonetheless boarded entirely at owner’s risk. 

4. If someone other than the owner will be collecting the animal, notification of this must be given when checking in. 

5. Comberton Cattery reserves the right to re-home any animal not collected within 7 days of the date arranged if no communication is received from the owner. 

6. On booking we require a £20 non-refundable deposit, or payment in full, whichever is the lower. This can be paid by bank transfer, cheque/cash

or card. Balance of payment is due upon checking in. 

7. Any cancellation made within 48 hours of arrival may be liable to a cancellation fee of the full cost of the booking. This will be at the owner’s discretion. 

8. Comberton Cattery reserve the right to refuse bookings for vicious animals. (Please inform the Cattery of any known behaviour issues). 

9. The prices include heating, bedding, food and litter. However, if your cat has dietary required food or ver expensive food, it is the owners responsibility to supply this. Bedding is supplied, however you can bring your cats bedding to make him/her feel at home. 
 

10. The daily price tariff applies to both the day of your cat’s arrival and the day of departure. All days that are booked must be paid for in full, even if you collect your cat(s) early.

11. Early collection of your cat(s) - Please note, if you wish to collect your cat earlier than dates booked, prior notice must be sought and dates booked that are not required will still be charged.
